Last weekend we reunited the remaining members of the Penney family: Linda (mom) & her sister Gail (aunt), their nieces Tara & Cindy, and their respective kids Clint & Amanda and Cheri, Anya & Kingston. And then of course myself and my sister/her kids. There were 15 of us all together...and we couldn't tell you the last time all of us were together in the same room. Maybe a Christmas at Grandma Bruhn's? Regardless, it was a very special day. I'm disappointed there isn't a group photo. But we have the memores of a FUN cornhole tournament :)

The last two weeks have been filled with family...my mom came in town for 10 days, my Aunt Gail (mom's sister) came in for 5 days, and my sister and her kids came in for 4 days. Izzy has been spoiled by all these loving arms for days on end. My mom rekindled the "no, no, no" head shaking in Izzy, which is so much fun! Activities included the pool (both outdoor and indoor swim lessons), the zoo, a family reunion (pics to follow), shopping, backyard fun and many laughs!!!

Eagle Creek Triathlon...

Starting the run
Mom & Kel
This morning we woke EARLY to head over to Eagle Creek for a Sprint Triathlon with Becki & Sandi. Of course, Sandi swam (she didn't have a choice - she swam in college!), Becki biked (go Becki!) and I ran. I believe we made some good time...the results aren't posted yet. So you'll just have to take my word for it. So for all you know - WE WON!!!

Our little fish...

Izzy continues to love the water and her Aqua Babes class. She goes underwater and through the hoola hoop multiple times each class and enjoys every minute of it.
Izzy is resting up for a long 2 weeks ahead: my mom, aunt, sister and niece/nephew will be here the next two weeks (not all at the same time)!! Mom hasn't seen her since New Years...so this is a much-anticipated visit. So fun!!!

9 month Stats...

Izzy had her 9 month pediatrician appointment this morning where she proceeded to rip apart and play with the paper sheeting they place on the patient table. She had a blast talking and laughing with our Ped.

Her statistics are:

Height 28 1/4 inches long - 50-75% percentile
Head 44 1/2 cm round - 50-75% percentile
Weight 19 lb 2 oz big - 50-75% percentile

Finally, her head is proportionate to the rest of her body!!!

We learned she is in perfect health and progressing well. What more could a parent ask for??

Weekend filled with friends...

Saturday morning Izzy & I met Deanna & Connor out for breakfast at Patachou. D and I used to meet here quite often when we were going through fertility together. We used to have breakfast over tears...and now we're racing through conversations while feeding our bambinos and laughing at life stories. My, what a difference a few years makes!!!

Sunday morning the Moosbruggers (Eric, Meg & Oscar) came over for brunch. Meg is expecting her second boy in October (and looks fab!!!) and her first boy is getting so big! I can't believe I used to nanny for this handsome young boy!! What a fun visit we had as the kiddos played in the pool. I miss my Meg...

And Sunday afternoon, Izzy and I met Jaime & Luke at the Monon pool. Jaime and I live a few short miles apart...yet we see each other infrequently. I was going through Jaime withdrawls...so I just had to meet her for a few short hours at the pool today. It was great catching up with her (even though we talk via email daily) and people watching. I'm sorry there are no pics of Luke Duke...but he was napping while my camera was out.
